Personalized Dog Training
Here at BRCMD we provide professional dog training for all breeds, ages, and temperaments. We specialize in manners, obedience, and behavior modification and use multiple methods to establish the best outcome possible for each individual dog that enrolls in our program. Using a scientific reward based balanced approach we are able to bring out the very best in every dog that joins our pack. We are not a one size fits all training company and believe that every dog is unique and their training plan should be custom to fit each dog and family to create a dynamic and balanced relationship to last.
We are based out of Frederick, MD and have partnered with Sunchaser Kennels located in Union Bridge, MD. Depending on your dogs training goals we offe multiple training programs, private lessons, consults, and refreshers. We serve all of Frederick and its surrounding areas.

Manners & Obedience Camp
Whether your dog is just starting out or you want to continue your dog's training to bring out the best in your pup our Manners and Obedience Camp is the perfect choice! During this four week board and train stay we customize and focus on your dog's personal training goals and needs. Great for pups that are six months + we focus on building a calm mindset and tackling behaviors like jumping, leash pulling, over arousal, nuisance barking, mild reactivity, counter surfing, crate manners, threshold manners, and so much more! We work on creating a solid foundation for both you and your dog to build on. We find what reward(s) motives your dog and what tool will best suit them to reinforce behaviors when needed. Your dog will learn all of their obedience (heel, focus, sit, down, stay, place, recall, let’s go, up up, off, kennel, and leave it), how to be calm in a home, how to be calm/neutral on outings in public settings, leash skills, social skills, confidence building, general doggie manners, and even offleash recall if desired. This stay allows enough time to tackle negative behaviors and create + proof positive ones to go home with.

Puppy Camp
Training starts the moment your puppy comes home. This two week board and train gets your young pup set up for success at an early age. We focus on building engagement, name recognition, confidence building, socialization, shaping basic behaviors, intro to leash pressure, crate training, and good potty habits to continue with back home. This program is not only great for any puppy between the ages of two and five months but it’s ideal for first time dog owners that need a bit more guidance as well as breeds that require an early start. It’s the perfect beginning and your puppy will be ahead of the game when they return for their advanced obedience and manners.

Behavior Camp
This board and train program is perfect for dogs and their owners that are struggling with severe leash reactivity, extreme fear, anxiety, resource guarding, and dog aggression. This includes a thorough evaluation prior to your dogs training stay. Behavior modification is not a quick fix; we have to build a relationship and trust to help work your dog through their fears and insecurities to create new positive behaviors and to eliminate the negative. Understanding that genetics and other factors may play a huge part in the success of your dogs rehabilitation process is key and we can not guarantee 100% success for every dog that enrolls in this program. Management through daily training and obedience back home is required to maintain all the hard work that will be put in during your dogs four to eight week training stay.

Jump Start Camp
This two week board and train program is a great starting point to better your relationship with your dog. This camp helps to get owners and dogs on the right track that desire a cleaner skill set in and around the home. We will focus on your dogs foundation, mindset, and leash skills for you to continue working with and to build on. This program is for dogs who are 6+ months of age with little to no behavioral concerns. We do require an in person consultation with Brittany or Devon to make sure your dog qualifies for this program vs another option that could be better suited to reach your training goals.
